We hold Empowerment Expos for boys and girls between 13-18 years old and their parents. They are a preventative measure to serve at-risk students through a one-day, interactive experience.
Volunteer guest speaker from fields such as professional athletes, police officers, school administrators, child psychologists, counselors, ex-convicts, superintendents, and more speak to youth on various topics to help build them up emotionally, spiritually, and relationally, with the goal of encouraging them to stay in school and make good life choices.
Schools and school districts can contact us to hold an expo for your truant students to give them the extra hours they need to meet attendance requirements.
At the Expos, we also seek to connect them with social services and community agencies they may not be aware of.
This program requires support from professionals to speak to students/parents, churches willing to donate.
